Agent Installation
The Agent Installation section includes information on installing, updating, and un-installing the CloudCasa Kubernetes agent.
To perform any backup, restore, replication, or migration operations on a cluster, you first need to install and register a CloudCasa agent. Several methods are available for doing this. The default method is to use kubectl to apply a custom manifest file generated by CloudCasa, which contains all of the appropriate resources, including a unique ClusterID for each cluster being registered. The kubectl method will work with all types of Kubernetes clusters.
Several other installation options are also available depending on your cluster type. These include a Helm chart, an EKS add-on, and a Charmed Operator. Installation is also available through the Azure Marketplace (for AKS and Azure Arc clusters) and through the Rancher Apps & Marketplace page.
